Embrace Your Unique Brain, and Build a Life That Works For You

The ADHD brain is wired differently. Yet we try, over and over again, to force it to do things in the same way neurotypical people are able to. What if we could learn more about the way our own brains work, and use that knowledge to create systems and tools that actually work for us? At Brilliantly Unbound, I will encourage you to step outside that one "right" way of doing things, and I'll support you in developing skills, strategies, and solutions that will empower your authentic self.

Affirming & Supportive ADHD Coaching for Adults

My Holistic Approach

Having ADHD means more than forgetting where you left your keys or running late to your appointments (though many of us definitely have a hard time with those too!). The executive function challenges of ADHD can have an impact in many areas of your life, from your productivity and work style, to your health and hygiene. From how you show up in relationships and relate to others, to the way you understand yourself.

My coaching style is committed to identifying and addressing the negative self-talk and relentless cycles of shame so many of us experience, and to helping you learn to rely on the many strengths and creativities you have within you. You are far more capable than you've likely given yourself credit for, and I'd like to support you in reaching the balanced and fulfilling life you want. Areas of focus include:

Executive Function Skills

Health & Wellness

Self-Advocating For Your Needs

Emotional Resilience

Productivity & Motivation

Organization & Time Management

Improving Your Relationships

Prioritization & Goal-Setting

How It Works

Scheduling & Goal-Setting

Schedule Your First Session

To get started, you'll fill out a quick survey to share your availability, and to tell me a bit about your needs and what you hope to gain through coaching. I will reach out to you to answer any preliminary questions, and to schedule your first 30-minute virtual session.

To support our ADHD community, the cost of your first session will always be a small donation, in any amount you choose, made directly to a non-profit organization that supports ADHD research and treatment.

Create a Personalized Coaching Plan

During your our first session together, I will address any questions you have about the coaching process, and I will take the time to identify and understand your goals and needs. Together, we'll craft a plan to make positive progress in your day-to-day, while working toward your long-term goals.

Start Making Progress Toward Your Goals

As your coach, I will always meet you where you are — no shame, no judgment. There is no starting point that is better or worse, there is only what you bring to the process, and what you want to take from it. A lot of us have been socialized to feel inadequate for so-called "shortcomings," but I will support you in identifying the areas you excel, and in finding new ways of approaching things that you struggle with. I will celebrate your small wins along the way, and help you chip away at the obstacles that are holding you back.

Let's Get to Know Each Other

About Me

About Me

I'm Chelsea Goulet, your would-be partner and confidante in navigating the ups and downs of ADHD.  I am excited to get to know you, and to help you celebrate and lean into all of the things that make you unique and delightful, but it only seems fair to tell you a bit about myself too.

After being diagnosed with ADHD in my 30s, I realized that engaging with and serving the ADHD community was my true calling. I left my career as a civil litigation attorney, and studied to be an ADHD coach. I pursued my training through a program certified by both the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC).

I live in Brooklyn, NY, with my partner and our two cats, Marbles & Slinky. I see clients locally, but am fortunate to practice virtually all over the world. I love all things cat, enjoy a sci-fi / fantasy read, can be stressed in the kitchen but calm in a crisis, and am deeply loyal to my chosen family. I am very proud of the extensive vegetable garden I have on my little patch of outdoor space, I never cheat at board games, and I'll always go full out for a costume assignment or party theme.
I am a feminist and proudly bisexual, and will continue to work toward a world where LGBTQIA+ and womens' rights are universal and unquestioned. My coaching will always welcome people of all gender identities, sexualities, and relationship structures.
A person of many (many, many...) hobbies, I have found an enduring passion in learning all that I can about ADHD and using that knowledge to help my fellow neurodivergents understand and accept themselves.  I would love to work with you to identify the ways ADHD shows up for you, and to build skills and create systems that allow you to thrive as your truest self.
